## Which video fits which moment

AI video suits short pieces that a team needs often. It does not replace the yearly brand film. The table shows where each team gets the most from it.

| Team | The moment | The video | Format | Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing | A feature launch next week | One scene showing the feature in use | Landscape and portrait | 10 seconds |
| Marketing | The homepage | A company introduction | Landscape | 30 seconds |
| Marketing | A campaign for two audiences | One version per audience | Per channel | 30 seconds each |
| Sales | A common objection | One scene that answers it | Landscape, for a deck or email | 10 seconds |
| Agency | A client's monthly content | A series with the client's cast and colours | Per channel | 10 to 30 seconds |
| Onboarding | A new hire's first day | One scene per moment: desk, tools, who to ask | Landscape | 10 seconds each |

AI tools are now common in video work. In Wyzowl's 2026 survey, 63% of video marketers said they had used AI tools to create or edit marketing videos.

## What makes a use case a good fit

A use case suits AI video when it meets four criteria.

- **It repeats.** The team needs this kind of video monthly or weekly, not once.
- **It is short.** The message fits in 10 to 30 seconds.
- **It is about a situation.** The video shows a person, a problem and a change, not a recording of reality.
- **It must look like one company.** The same people, colours and place return every time.

The reverse also holds. A one-off film that must show real footage is a job for a camera. See [AI video vs traditional video production](/guides/ai-video-vs-traditional-company-video/).

## Marketing teams: faster company videos

The slow part of company video is rebuilding the context for every piece: who we are, what it should look like, who is in it. Teams get faster when they set that once and reuse it.

In GetReelCom that context is your Director's Guide: the Brand, Products, Audience, Characters and Venues tabs. It is set up once per brand, and every new video starts from it. The preview step keeps the routine cheap. A still frame costs 1 credit, and the ten seconds of video cost 10 more after you approve it.

A typical month is a launch scene, two social scenes and a version for a second audience. That is four scenes, or 44 credits. How to split a message per audience is covered in [How to tailor a company video to different audiences](/guides/videos-for-multiple-target-audiences/).

## Agencies: several clients, separate brands

Each client needs its own colours, cast and messaging, isolated from the others. In GetReelCom that is one project per client. Each project has its own five tabs, so one client's settings never appear in another client's video.

Credits are shared across the account. For volume, the Agency plan covers 200 or more credits, seats and roles, client review links and invoicing. Download the agency deck on the [pricing page](/pricing/), or mail [hello@getreelcom.com](mailto:hello@getreelcom.com). How projects work is explained in [Add a company project](/help/account/add-a-company-project/).

The still frame is also useful in client work. A frame costs 1 credit and shows the client the scene before any video is made. Approval then happens on a picture, not on a description.

## Sales: one product, one objection

A ten-second scene fits an outreach email or a pitch deck better than a brochure. The strongest sales scene shows the product at the moment it answers a common objection.

Build it from two saved sources. The product's Key benefits supply the answer. The audience's Objections and Buying motives fields supply the question. Select both on the New video screen, and "Suggest a video" drafts a scene from them.

One limit applies. These scenes are made per audience, not per prospect. GetReelCom does not insert a recipient's name or company into a video. Usage rights are covered in [Download and use your video](/help/videos/download-and-use-your-video/).

## Onboarding and training: one moment per scene

Onboarding works well as a series of short scenes. Each scene covers one moment: where to find something, how a process starts, who to ask. A new hire can watch the one they need.

Cast the colleagues a new hire will meet, with their consent, and set the scenes in the real office. The same avatars return in every scene, so the series reads as one course. Consent and avatars are covered in [How to put real employees in an AI video](/guides/ai-video-featuring-real-employees/).

A scene cannot show readable screen text. A software walkthrough that depends on reading the interface needs a screen recording instead.

## A worked example

_[Video: One ten-second scene of a workplace conversation. The same kind of scene serves a product page, a sales deck and an onboarding series. — /park/tri/desk.mp4]_

The clip above is one scene from a company video for Triagen, a software company. It shows a conversation at a desk, with the product on the screen behind. One scene like this can do three jobs.

| Team | How the same scene is used | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing | The middle scene of a 30-second company video | Nothing: this is the original use |
| Sales | A clip in a pitch deck, answering "how does a check-in work?" | The narration, rewritten for the buyer's objection |
| Onboarding | The opening of a series for new case managers | The narration, rewritten as an instruction |

A rewritten narration means a new scene, because a finished scene cannot be edited. The cast, the venue and the scene text are reused, so each variant costs 11 credits and a few minutes.

## Cost per team

Every ten-second scene costs 11 credits in GetReelCom, and a 30-second video costs 33. The plans differ in volume.

| Plan | Credits a month | Enough for | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 40, one-time | One 30-second video, with a watermark | Trying it on your own website |
| Starter, €29.95 a month | 66 | Six scenes, or two 30-second videos | A founder or a small marketing team |
| Studio, €59.95 a month | 165 | Fifteen scenes, or five 30-second videos | A team publishing every week |
| Agency, volume pricing | 200 or more | As agreed | Agencies and teams that need seats or invoicing |

Frame redraws cost 1 credit each and come out of the same allowance. The full breakdown is in [How much does an AI video cost?](/guides/cost-of-an-ai-company-video/).

## Common mistakes

- **Starting with the brand film.** Start with the small, repeated pieces. They show the value fastest.
- **Setting up per video.** The saving comes from reuse. Finish the Director's Guide once before making a series.
- **One project for several clients.** Colours and cast would mix. Use one project per client.
- **Casting colleagues without asking.** A real person's likeness needs their demonstrable consent.
- **Using a scene where a recording is needed.** A testimonial, a screen walkthrough and an event need real footage.

## Frequently asked questions

### What do businesses use AI video for?

Mostly for short, repeated pieces: launch and social videos, company introductions, explainers, product scenes, sales clips and onboarding series. In Wyzowl's 2026 survey, 63% of video marketers had used AI tools to create or edit marketing videos. AI video is less suited to testimonials and event recordings.

### How can a marketing team make company videos faster?

Set the context once and reuse it. In GetReelCom the brand, products, audiences, characters and venues are saved per project, and every video starts from them. A still frame for 1 credit catches mistakes before the 10-credit video step, which avoids redoing finished work.

### Can agencies use AI video for several clients?

Yes. In GetReelCom each client is a separate project with its own brand colours, cast and venues. Credits are shared across the account. The Agency plan adds volume pricing, seats and roles, client review links and invoicing.

### Can sales teams use AI video in outreach?

Yes, for scenes that answer a common objection or show one benefit. The scene is written for an audience, such as finance directors, and not for one named prospect. Download the MP4 and add it to an email or a deck.

### Is AI video suitable for onboarding and training?

Yes, for short scenes about one moment each, with the colleagues a new hire will meet. It is not suitable for software walkthroughs that depend on reading the screen, because generated scenes contain no readable text. Use a screen recording for those.

### When is AI video the wrong tool?

When the viewer must see the real thing. A customer testimonial, a recording of an event, a factory tour and a screen walkthrough all need real footage. AI video is also a poor fit for a single long film with music, because scenes are ten seconds each.
