## Which video formats does GetReelCom support?

Two. Landscape is 16:9, labelled in the app "web, YouTube". Portrait is 9:16, labelled "Reels, TikTok, Shorts". Both are chosen on the New video screen.

## What is the difference between 4:3 and 9:16?

4:3 is the old, nearly square television ratio, and GetReelCom does not offer it. 9:16 is taller than wide and fills a phone screen held upright. GetReelCom's wide option is 16:9, the standard widescreen ratio.

## When should I choose 9:16?

For vertical, full-screen viewing on phones: Instagram and Facebook Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Stories.

## Which format is best for social media?

Portrait (9:16) for the vertical feeds: Reels, TikTok, Shorts. Landscape (16:9) for a normal YouTube upload or a video embedded on a web page.

## Which format is best for a website?

Landscape (16:9). It fits a page's width and the players people expect there.

## Which format is best for LinkedIn?

Either works. LinkedIn plays landscape and vertical video; landscape fits the desktop feed, portrait takes more of the screen on phones. If in doubt, make the landscape version first.

## Can I change the aspect ratio after generating the video?

No. The format is fixed once the frame is drawn, and the video keeps its shape. To get the same scene in the other format, create a new video in that format.

## What should I do if I want the video in another format?

Create a new video, choose the other format before drawing the frame, and reuse the same cast, scene text and narration. "Suggest a video" is not needed; copy the text from the finished video's "What this was built from" panel.

## Does creating the video in another format use additional credits?

Yes. A video in the other format is a separate video: 1 credit for its frame and 10 for its clip, 11 in total.

## When do I need to choose the format?

Before you draw the preview frame. It is one of the choices on the New video screen, and it locks as soon as the frame exists.
