The free plan and free credits
Every new account gets 40 credits, no card, and they never expire, enough for your first 30-second company video (three scenes) and a cast. Free-plan videos carry a GetReelCom watermark; a paid plan removes it from every video.
How does the free plan work?
Signing up puts 40 credits on your account, with no card. They are a one-time allowance, not a monthly one, and they never expire. Forty credits is enough for your first 30-second company video, three ten-second scenes, plus a cast of avatars and a redraw or two. Everything in the product is available on the free plan.
Is there a watermark on a free-plan video?
Yes. Videos made on the Free plan carry a GetReelCom watermark: the blimp and “A GetReelCom Production”, centred and translucent, so the clip is fully usable for a preview or a test but recognisably free. Paid plans get clean video.
Can I download a video created on the free plan?
Yes. Download video works on every plan and costs nothing.
When does the GetReelCom logo appear?
On videos served to a Free-plan account. It is not in your frame, your avatars or your venue images, only in the video.
How do I remove the watermark?
Move to Starter or Studio. Both variants of every video are stored, so an upgrade takes effect on all your videos at once, including ones you made on the free plan; nothing needs regenerating. See Plans: Starter, Studio and Agency.
