Your Director's Guide

The Brand, Products, Audience, Characters and Venues tabs every video starts from.

  • What is your Director's Guide?

Your Director's Guide is the project-wide information every video starts from, the Brand, Products, Audience, Characters and Venues tabs. Set it once, review it, and each new video reuses it by default.

  • Brand tab, company information

The Brand tab holds your name, website, language, short and long description, mission, history, brand values, sector, company stage, employees and locations. Fill in what your site does not say.

  • Brand colours, logo and style

On the Brand tab you set a Primary, Secondary and Accent colour, a Logo URL and an optional Style reference image. Every video in the project uses them, and each project has its own.

  • Target audiences

An audience is a saved profile of who your videos speak to, their role, organisation, problem, wants, objections and language style. Save one primary audience and any number of secondary ones.

  • Products and services

Save your products and services in the Products tab with a name, kind, category, pricing, benefits, features, a page link and a photo. A video is about the primary product unless you pick another, one per video.

  • Venues

A venue is a saved place your videos can take place, your office, shop floor or any setting you describe. Videos use the primary venue unless you pick another. Saving one is free; rendering its image costs 1 credit.

  • Characters

Characters are the people in your videos, real team members or invented audience personas. Add them in the Characters tab, give them a photo and generate an avatar (1 credit) so they keep the same face.
