Create your first video

How do I create my first video?

Sign in, let GetReelCom read your website (or set the brand up by hand), check what it filled in, then click New video to cast your scene and write it.

1. On getreelcom.com, enter your website address and click Create your free company video. Or go to app.getreelcom.com and choose Start from your website or Start manually.
2. Sign in with Google or Microsoft.
3. Review the Brand, Products, Audience, Characters and Venues that were filled in automatically. Correct anything that is wrong; changes save as you type.
4. Click New video at the top of the left sidebar.
5. Under Who is in it?, select one or two characters. If the project has more than one audience, product or venue saved, pickers for those appear too.
6. Choose Landscape (16:9) or Portrait (9:16).
7. Write what should happen, and optionally a line of narration. Or click Suggest a video and edit the draft.
8. Click Save & draw the frame. When the still looks right, generate the video.

What information do I need before I start?

At minimum: your company website address and a Google or Microsoft account. Everything else GetReelCom can draft from your site, and you fill in the rest afterwards.

For the best first result, have these ready:

• A few product or service names and one sentence on each.
• A short description of your target customer: their role and the kind of company they work at.
• Direct image links for the people, products and places you want to see in the video. A direct link points to the image file itself, not to a web page. See Add an image URL.

None of this is required before signing up, and none of it costs credits to add.
